Welcome to Cricket Knoll

We are devoted Jack Russell Terrier enthusiasts, located in Southwest Lower Michigan. Our terriers are the 10 – 12 inch “short” AKC / UKC Jack Russell. It has been our privilege to be involved with these exceptional little dogs since 2002.

Each of our dogs are cherished members of our family. We are not commercial breeders. Occasionally, however, we have puppies available. Our prime objectives for each litter are sound temperaments and robust health. Our terriers are screened for genetic and orthopedic issues prior to breeding. All Cricket Knoll puppies are BAER tested (for congenital deafness) before they are welcomed into their new loving homes, without exception.

We have imported several dogs that we feel are respectable examples of the breed standard. It is not possible for any breeder to guarantee that a puppy will be of “show quality” nor is it not our intent to produce dogs solely for the show ring. Correct structure will contribute to a long, healthy life and therefore, is an essential consideration in planning each of our litters. As novice breeders, we feel that the evaluation of our breeding stock by licensed judges is helpful. To this end, we have exhibited our breeding stock in United Kennel Club and American Kennel Club conformation events.
